Mark Driscoll, founder of Mars Hill Church in Seattle and a prolific Christian author, is not shy about speaking out about his faith. Here is a brief video clip on what he had to say recently about the movie Avatar, the highest grossing movie in history. Perhaps you have seen it ... and perhaps you have not (I have not). I would have to agree with Mr. Driscoll in many, many ways. As I watched this video last night with my family, all sitting in our living room, the whole "Mother Earth" "Gaia" theme kept slapping me in the head. They did in this movie demonize big business.
With the fallout of this last year and the bailouts on the backs of the American citizen, I can't help but laugh at the irony. They started making this movie under the Bush administration, but it wasn't released until the Obama Regime has started pandering to all the Big Businesses.
Back to the movie though. The "Plug and Play" idea that they showed with everything in the environment, just smacked of "We are all connected with our environment".
