A Prayer for Your Sunday

O God, Designer and Creator of all,
Who am I, that You think of me?
Who am I, that You sent your
One and only Son to die for me?        

God, your grace and mercy is beyond amazing!          
Help me, today and EVERY day
To always remember just how far down
You had to reach to rescue me.

And as I continue my journey on earth,
Help me to resist the agenda of the night,
Embrace the agenda of the day,
And carry the light of the day into
The darkness that surrounds me.

Amen.
